Recently, on 6 November 2023, The Faculty of Administration International Economics organized a sharing session on teaching support tools for all Faculty lecturers. With presentations by MB Phan Van Hai – Head of the Tourism Management and Operations Division – and MB Phan Thi Hoi – Lecturer of the Faculty, several effective teaching support tools were introduced to lecturers in the disciplines.
In the teaching process, the application of teaching support tools has become an effective method to enhance students’ skills and manage classrooms more efficiently. Among these tools, the Faculty introduced two key platforms: Padlet and Flip.

Padlet is an online tool that allows lecturers to create interactive boards to share information, ideas, and materials with students. This enables lecturers to monitor each student’s learning progress in a more detailed and flexible manner. By using Padlet, lecturers can easily collect students’ opinions, feedback, and materials, thereby adjusting teaching methods and content to better meet students’ learning needs.

For students majoring in Tourism and Travel Management, lecturers facilitated the creation of video clips using Flip – a tool that supports easy video production. Through video creation, students were required to present commentaries on tourist destinations. This activity helps students enhance their speaking, presentation, and communication skills in a clear and fluent manner when introducing tourist attractions. It serves as important preparation and a foundation for their future careers.
The Faculty believes that applying teaching support tools such as Padlet and Flip will bring significant benefits to students’ learning processes. These tools not only assist lecturers in monitoring students’ learning progress and adjusting teaching methods effectively, but also help students develop essential skills such as public speaking, presentation, and communication. It is hoped that the application of these tools will contribute to improving teaching quality and creating a better learning environment for students of The Faculty of Administration International Economics at Lac Hong University.
