Faculty of IT Friendly Football Match – Connecting Generations, Spreading Passion
On the afternoon of March 14, 2025, the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University successfully organized a friendly football match between lecturers, alumni, and students. This annual sports event, held once a year, aims to strengthen the bond between generations, create a healthy playing field, and foster teamwork within the Faculty of IT community.
More Than a Match, It’s a Reunion
From the moment the game kicked off, the atmosphere on the field was incredibly vibrant. The smooth coordination, intense tackles, and passionate play created an exciting match for everyone to enjoy. It wasn't just a sports game; it was also an opportunity for lecturers, alumni, and students to socialize and share memorable stories and experiences from their time studying and working at the Faculty of IT.
Despite being on opposing teams, everyone shared the same spirit: fair play, solidarity, and a full commitment to their passion for football. The lecturers showed that despite their busy teaching schedules, they were still incredibly fit on the field. The alumni brought their seasoned techniques, while the students demonstrated their youthful energy, speed, and creative play style. Every goal scored was a memorable moment, making the match even more exciting.
The Spirit of Sport – A Bond Between Generations
After 90 minutes of thrilling competition, the match concluded with excitement and a sense of unity among everyone. Regardless of the final score, the most important takeaways were the laughter, friendly handshakes, and unforgettable memories created by the friendly match. This annual football event not only helps improve physical health and promote a love for sports but also serves as an opportunity for different generations of IT students to connect with one another. For alumni, it's also a chance to return to their alma mater, reunite with their teachers, and share valuable experiences with the younger generation.
