On April 22, 2025, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Information Technology (IT) of various universities attended the Vietnam E-commerce Panorama Forum (VOBF) 2025, an annual event organized by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM). With the theme "Winning in the AI Era," the forum was held at the Beethoven Auditorium, Hong Bang International University, attracting over 1,500 individuals and businesses from the domestic and international e-commerce sectors.
VOBF 2025 focused on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of e-commerce, especially cross-border e-commerce and digital exports. The Faculty of IT lecturers participated in in-depth discussion sessions, including "Growth Methods for Businesses in the New Era" and "Effective AI Application for Sustainable E-commerce Growth." These sessions provided practical solutions, from applying AI in supply chains and omnichannel marketing to personalizing customer experiences.
A highlight of the event was a presentation on AI trends affecting e-commerce in Vietnam and globally by Chief Engineer Phan Thanh Ha from Google Cloud Vietnam, along with a report from NielsenIQ on consumer behavior and trends in 2025.
