On the morning of July 9, 2025, at Hall A301, Lac Hong University organized the Conference to Review and Honor Scientific-Technological, Community Service, and Academic Advising activities for the 2024–2025 academic year. The event was an opportunity for the entire university to reflect on its achievements while recognizing and commending the groups and individuals who made significant contributions throughout the year.
In the solemn and welcoming atmosphere of the event, the Faculty of Information Technology was honored to be one of the departments recognized by the university for its active involvement in professional activities, scientific research, and community engagement. This is a great source of encouragement for the faculty's staff and students on their journey to continuously improve the quality of teaching and learning and contribute to society.
Step-by-Step Affirmation Through Research and Application
Throughout the past academic year, the faculty's staff and students participated in numerous scientific research projects focused on applying technology to real-world solutions, particularly in the fields of education, management, and digital transformation. Several initiatives have been effectively implemented at the university level, contributing to improved training quality and increased connectivity with businesses and local communities.
Although small in scale, these activities reflect the spirit of learning, creativity, and thoughtful application of knowledge to life—something the Faculty of Information Technology constantly strives to maintain and encourage among its students.
A Small Contribution to Community Activities
In addition to academic work, the faculty also prioritized participating in community service activities initiated by the university. Faculty and students made quiet but meaningful contributions, from providing technical support to schools and teaching digital skills to local residents to participating in charitable programs. While not large-scale, these actions demonstrate a sense of responsibility and a desire to spread positive values to the community.
Academic advising within the faculty has also been progressively improved, aiming for a closer, more supportive approach to students, not just in their studies but also in their skill and career development.
The Road Ahead
The achievements of the 2024–2025 academic year are the result of the entire Faculty of Information Technology's collective effort—a journey of dedication, learning, and growth. Although modest compared to expectations, this serves as a stepping stone for the faculty and its students to continue to improve in the future.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the faculty members and students who have been part of this journey. With a spirit of progress, responsibility, and continuous learning, the Faculty of Information Technology will continue to strive and contribute to the overall development of the university and the community.
